A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
If you were student at Texas State, the place was a life saver. As a resident, it offers a cornucopia of music. But, really, the Triple Crown is a marvel. First off, they consistently book music for a wide range of tastes from country to rockabilly to hip hop to rap to electronica and rock in all its forms: metal, alternative, classic etc. Secondly, they have not skipped even one day of featuring live music for last 6,000 days. Even when it flooded in San Marcos, musicians showed up to keep the streak alive. Today they are celebrating the 6,000th day of live music with free food, great bands and fun. Go give them a high-five for the six thousand. Live music is an important part of a healthy human soul.
