STAFF REPORT

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is conducting a warrant roundup on outstanding Class C warrants from the county’s Justice of the Peace (JP) offices.

The roundup will begin after an amnesty period that is to end on June 28. The sheriff’s office is encouraging all persons with active warrants to take care of those warrants before that date. During the amnsesty period, warrants can be cleared up by paying the warrant fee only through the JP office. Citizens can contact their local JP office to check on active warrants or check via a public records search on the Hays County website (www.co.hays.tx.us).

The HCSO is conducting the roundup in conjunction with the Hays County Constable Offices and the Buda Police Department.
