The city-sponsored “Movies in Your Park” series continues next Tuesday, June 11, with “Lemonade Mouth,” a Disney musical about five high schoolers who form a band. The film rolls at 7:30 p.m. at San Marcos Plaza Park on C.M. Allen Parkway.

The series began June 4 and continue through July 30.  Movies will be held every Tuesday and will begin as soon as the sun has set for the evening. Other films in the series include:

June 18 “Madagascar 3”
June 25 “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”
July 2 “The Pirates!: Band of Misfits”
July 9 “Hotel Transylvania”
July 16 “The Perfect Game”
July 23 “Brave”
July 30 “Here Comes the Boom”

The city’s parks and recreation department invites residents to bring the kids before the movie begins at 7:30 p.m. for pre-movie activities sponsored by Angel Drops. Concessions are provided for a nominal cost.

Best parking is available just across the river at City Park near the Rec Hall, 170 Charles Austin Drive. Walk across the pedestrian bridge and bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and blankets to San Marcos Plaza Park, 401 E. Hopkins St., and enjoy the activities and free Movies in Your Park.
