Tonight’s Best Bet

Ghosts Along the Brazos will make you feel like dancing with their lilting Texas swingin’ tunes and heartfelt style. It’s even more charming that their name reflects the book by Texas author (and librarian) Catherine Munson Foster. Just try to find that book somewhere– it’s a rare treat, just like the band. Ghosts Along the Brazos will be at Gruene Hall tonight. The music starts up at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

 

Memorial Day

On May 27, 2013, City of San Marcos offices City, including City Hall, Public Library, Activity Center, and Utility Offices, will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday. Texas Disposal Systems will operate its usual Monday trash collection and recycling routes.
