The San Marcos City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. to consider amendments to the McCarty Commons Planned Development District on second reading.
The city council tabled the item at its May 21 meeting after John Thomaides raised questions about the developer’s responsibility for an extension of Texas 21 between McCarty Lane and Centerpoint Road. Stratford Land Co. partner Ocie Vest told council members that the delay would make it difficult for him to close a deal with San Antonio-based grocer H-E-B for a potential new store at McCarty Lane and Interstate 35.
The agendas for city council meeting are posted a minimum of 72 hours before the meeting online here. Regular city council meetings are broadcast live on Time Warner Channel 10 and Grande Channel 16 and video streamed live on the city’s website here.Email | Print
