Playing on the road made the difference in the fourth quarter for the San Marcos High School boys basketball team in its playoff opener Monday night.
San Antonio Reagan rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Rattlers, 19-12, to claim a 64-58 victory. The loss ended the Rattlers season at 18-15 overall. Reagan advances with a 25-5 record.
Michael Hicks led San Marcos with 12 points, followed by Alex Frye, Josh Coleman and Brandon Coleman, all with 12. Michael Williams of Reagan led all scorers with 26 points.
