If Blondie and Elvis had a baby and they dropped it off in a trailer court in Texas to be raised by a coyote and a Country-Western singer you might get somebody a bit like the eclectic and always entertaining John Evans. He’s written songs with Hayes Carll, had songs used on a variety of television shows (notably Friday Night Lights) and is a general all around good time rascal. The John Evans Band is playing at Gruene Hall today from 4-8 p.m. where they will delight, charm and even thrill the crowd. They can rock.
