San Marcos Tonight: 12/16/12

Tonight’s Best Bet

Owen Temple will be one of the many musical guests tonight at the Cheatham Street Warehouse as the Gary Floater Holiday Show gets under way. The event celebrates the music of Floater and is a benefit for the Hays County Food Shelf so admission is a canned food item. You’ll be helping out a good cause and may even see the legendary, bordering on mythic, Gary Floater who penned such classics as “The Dirty South,” “Pull Over I Want To Eat That,” and “It’s High Time This Old Cowboy Quit Getting So Goldanged High.” It’s going to be a fun evening. Adam Carroll will be there, too. The music starts at 8 p.m.
