Fugitive Pedro Javier Quintero, 22, has been arrested in San Antonio, U.S. Marshal Hector Gomez said in a statement this morning.

A Caldwell County jury convicted Quintero in abstentia on five counts of aggravated sexual assault last week after he fled during a courtroom lunch break.

He faces 48 years in prison for the sexual assault convictions and could face bail jumping charges as well.
