He was excellent QB then and glad he is doing well now. He is dedicated and finds a way to make it happen. Outstanding arm and can run pretty well when needed also. Tickets are cheap, and available. The facility is awesome. The opponents are getting better and better (Nevada has been to seven straight bowl games, I think).

San Martians should take advantage. A lot of people travel for hours and spend a small fortune, to see FBS games live.

I think it is very sad that very few students and locals showed up. There was no TU game this week to compete with and still did not have very many people show up. They said there was 17,000 but they must have counted the workers, players, and coaches. If we want big time teams coming in here we need to show up to games. Maybe someone can write an article in the Bobcat magazine to get the kids mad.

Beating UH was a stunner, Tech was the hangover, and if we want to be anything we have to stop scheduling games like SFA.

But the Nevada program represents what we want to be as a program in the immediate future….a respectable program outside the power conferences that competes for its conference title and can sneak up and bite one of the big boys if they sleep on them.

By Saturday night, we’ll know where we are on that track.
