There's an interactive map here: http://www.texaswildfirerisk.com/
As you might expect, most of Hays County west of I-35 is moderate to high risk. What's really interesting to me is the map layer with historical data for ignition/origin. There are a few started by lightning strikes, deliberately set, camp fires, electric equipment malfunction, etc. but the vast majority start from burning debris. That pattern holds not just in this county but the entire state. Take heed of those red flag days and make sure your neighbors do too.

Any way we could get a link to more info about the specific neighborhoods the Forest Service has marked as high-risk here in town? I tried (admittedly not too exhaustively) to find more specifics and only located a map that showed the entire county at risk. This would obviously be good information to possess. I would also hope that specific plans for taking care of this issue might be featured pretty prominently in the upcoming election.
