VIDEO/COVER: Modern Texas blues innovator W.C. Clark, an Austin native, has earned unadulterated praise from critics. A New York Post writer called him “a legend of the blues world” and the Houston Chronical says “he is a powerful and poignant soul man with hard-earned blues wisdom.” In this 2005 video, he performs a song he co-wrote, “Cold Shot,” made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Clark says, “If blues is played right, it makes your soul feel clean.” WimberleyW.C. Clark 8 p.m. |
