the thing to remember is that the 22nd District Court has been held by a Hays County attorney since the early 60s, through the late Terry Jacks, and the retiring Charles Ramsey. If Bruce Boyer is elected three of the four District Court Judges serving Hays County will reside in New Braunfels. This may sound parocial to some, however you need a local judge available for emergency orders. The 22nd District Court needs to stay in the hands of someone who resides in this county. Further, from what I have seen Glicker has far more relevant legal experience than Boyer.
