San Marcos High School senior Jordan Carswell has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Colorado Christian University, which competes in NCAA Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Carswell was a four-year starter for the San Marcos Rattler varsity volleyball team and was named “MaxPrep National Player of the Week” by sports clothier Under Armor. Carswell also was named for First Team All-District three times and the Texas Sports Writers and Texas Girls Coaches Association’s All-State teams. She is a three time Academic All-District recipient and a member of the National Honor Society.

Colorado Christian is located in Lakewood, near Denver.
