Mayor Daniel Guerrero, shown here with instructor Connie Krusi, recently celebrated his 35th birthday by parachuting from a plane flying 10,500 feet — more than two miles — over Guadalupe County. The jump involves free-falling for about 45 seconds before deploying a parachute and landing in Skydive San Marcos’ drop zone near Fentress. City Manager Jim Nuse also took the plunge to celebrate his own birthday.
Another great thing about living in San Marcos…
First off, let me say that I like our Mayor.
With that out of the way, I have to point out that he looks like “Mayor Gumby” in that green jumpsuit….
Maybe. 🙂
My wife went for the second time this weekend. I have *never* heard of anyone having a bad time out there. Those folks are awesome.
Wow. Personally, I can’t even imagine doing that. Our mayor has guts. Way to go, Mayor G! You look like you’re loving it!
