Gregory Sioles

The Texas State School of Music will present a performance by acclaimed pianist Gregory Sioles next week.

Sioles, who currently serves on the piano faculty of Louisiana State University, has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has received numerous honors and awards including an Atwater Kent Grand Prize and a Fulbright Scholarship for study in London.

Sioles, who is active as a recitalist and as a soloist with orchestras, previously taught on the faculties of the University of Maryland, the Peabody Conservatory, and the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C.

Sioles will perform on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Evans Auditorium, which is located in the Evans Liberal Arts building on the Texas State Campus in San Marcos. Tickets are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before the concert.
