City seeks public input on CDBG

The City of San Marcos will hold a stakeholder workshop on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m., to receive citizen input on the proposed use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the 2012 program year.

The workshop is open to the public and will be held at the Sunrise Village II Community Center, 500 Parker Drive, #2411, in San Marcos.

The workshop will provide information about project eligibility and the application process. Those attending will have an opportunity to complete a funding use survey and to ask questions about the CDBG program.

A Spanish-speaking translator will be available at the workshop.

Citizens unable to attend the workshop may download a survey form from the city’s website by following the link: and clicking on Citizen Comment Form. The form is available in English and Spanish.
