The San Marcos Public Library puppeteers will present the puppet show “The Cornucopia Caper: A Thanksgiving Story” this week.

“The Cornucopia Caper” is appropriate for children ages two and older. Show times are Tuesday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Friday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The puppet show after that is “The Night Before Christmas, In Texas That Is,” and will be on Dec. 13 and 16. All puppet shows are at the public library, which is at 625 East Hopkins Street.

The library’s weekly Storytimes for Toddlers and Preschoolers will not occur this week though they will resume next week. These events feature songs and stories for toddlers on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:15 a.m., and for preschoolers (ages three to six years) on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m.
