Amy Madison, president and chief executive officer of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, was appointed to the Texas Economic Development Council Board of Directors during TEDC’s 50th annual meeting earlier this month in Fort Worth.
“Amy’s service to the TEDC board is good recognition for Greater San Marcos Partnership and Central Texas and it will help us build partnerships to further our organization’s mission,” said Hays County Pct. 3 Commissioner Will Conley, the partnership’s chairman.
“This is the first time we have had someone representing the greater San Marcos area on our board, and we welcome the leadership and experience that Amy will bring to the team,” said Carlton Schwab, the Texas Economic Development Council’s president.
