STAFF REPORT

Hays County Crime Stoppers is trying to help the Buda Police Department solve a robbery that happened last month.

On Sept. 17 at about 1:30 a.m., two Hispanic males stole three cases of beer from the Speedy Stop Convenience Store at 5003 Overpass Road (near the Interstate 35 east access road at Exit 220 Northbound) in Buda.

As the suspects attempted to leave the store without paying for the beer, they assaulted the store clerk who tried to stop them. The clerk suffered minor injuries. The suspects quickly exited the store and entered a black Chevy Trailblazer that waited in the parking lot. The vehicle sped away from the parking lot in an unknown direction of travel.
