A panel to include local private sector leaders will discuss business, career development, and entrepreneurship at Texas State University at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.
The roundtable discussion, free and open to the public, will last until 7:30 p.m. and be followed by a 30-minute meet-and-greet reception, where attendees may network with the panelists.
Individuals on the panel will include Meagan McCoy, director of field support at McCoy Building Supply; Scott Gregson, Texas Music Theater owner; Monica McNabb, CEO of McNabb and Co. real estate; San Marcos Chamber of Commerce President Brian Bondy; Pioneer Bank Vice President Russ Huebner; Texas State University Career Services Director Curt Schafer; and Tracy Willis, human resources vice president at Grande Communications.
Internet television show The Academic Avenue will host and broadcast the event live at SMTX.TV.
The panelists will discuss topics including resume tips, career development training, entrepreneurship, executive management, academic major selection, post-graduate employment, personal finances, the San Marcos economy, and more.
