Used book sale this weekend to benefit the library

Friends of the San Marcos Public Library will hold a used book sale this weekend.

The book sale will be at the San Marcos City Park Recreation Center Oct. 7-9. Sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Paperback books will be $1 and hardcover books will be $2 on Friday. Saturday prices are 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks. A bag of books will be $5 on Sunday.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the San Marcos Public Library. Those interested in volunteering at the sale may call library staff at (512) 393-8200 to sign up for a shift.
