County recognizes non-agriculture 4-H participants

The Hays County Commissioners Court recently recognized young people who participate in 4-H programs other than the conventional programs like agriculture. “4-H is much more than raising and showing livestock. There are a variety of programs that help our members learn different skills and give back to the community which most people don’t readily identify with 4-H,” said Richard Parrish, agricultural extension agent for the Hays County.
