A fight at an early morning party resulted in the arrest of a Missouri City man for stabbing two brothers with steak knives.
Daniel Benoit, Jr., 23, of Missouri City, Texas, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after two men were stabbed and suffered non-life-threatening wounds. He is jailed at the Hays County Law Enforcement Center under $20,000 bond.
San Marcos police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1000 block of San Marcos Parkway around 2:52 a.m. Monday. The stabbing occurred after a confrontation between partiers at an apartment, said Sgt. Mike Wellman of the San Marcos Criminal Investigations Division.
The victims, two brothers, were taken by ambulance to University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin. They were listed in stable condition Monday afternoon.
