The missing 13-year-old Wimberley boy, Dakota Shane Thompson, and his alleged abductor, 35-year-old Christopher Brian Perry are in the custody of the Madisonville Sheriff’s Office.

Madisonville deputy Larry Shiver was attempting to locate Thompson and Perry at addresses in Madisonville where it was thought they may have fled, Hays County Sheriffs Office deputy Brandy Reuter said. He spotted the red Mustang Perry was driving on Interstate 45 and, after a high-speed chase, drove to the sheriff’s office and surrendered.
Warrants were issued for Perry for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and kidnapping.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 13-year-old Dakota Shane Thompson, who authorities say was abducted yesterday by a family friend he was living with in Wimberley.
Thompson and Christopher Brian Perry, 35, were last seen together at the Brookshire Brothers grocery store in Wimberley at about 4:30 p.m. They left in a 2003 red Mustang with license plate number BT6B334.
Thompson is described as 4’2″, 80 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Perry is described as 5’8″ 165 to 200 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes.
