Keep San Marcos Beautiful and Tall Man Records announce their Spring Concert Series beginning 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at the San Marcos Plaza Park stage, 401 E. Hopkins, located at the corner of C.M. Allen Parkway and Hopkins.
Fastball
The free concert series highlights an array of musical talent, art, eco and food vendors in a family-friendly environment. Opening night kicks off on March 24 with featured headliner Fastball and includes Beans and Rice and The Kinfolk.
Vendor booths open at 6:30 p.m. with opening act performances beginning at 7 p.m. Concert headliners take the stage at 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the free concert.
“Keep San Marcos Beautiful is pleased to partner with Tall Man Records and other sponsors to produce such a variety of education and entertainment for our community,” said Heather Powdrill, Community Beautification Coordinator.
Keep San Marcos Beautiful is a city initiative formed in 2009 that focuses on city wide beautification, education, waste reduction and litter prevention.
The KSMB concert series will continue every Thursday evening through April 14. Confirmed acts for the spring season include Funkotron with Blacktop Nights, Carolyn Wonderland with Adam Johnson and the Pay Me’s, and Devil’s Hollow featuring Jasper.
The free community event is made possible by Tres Hefter of Tall Man Records, Leon Breedon Attorney at Law, Full Circle Salon, Haircuts Etc., Milagros Hill Country Tex Mex, Premier Cuts, Carson Properties and Tantra Coffeehouse.
