Farmers Market on the Square opens Saturday

The popular Saturday Farmers Market on the Square starts up again on March 5 in downtown San Marcos featuring locally grown produce, homemade crafts, artwork and live music. The LBJ Museum of San Marcos in downtown also is open on Saturdays.  Mayor Daniel Guerrero honors the local artisans and growers with a special proclamation initiating the 2011 season.
