City recognizes Texas Independence Day

Today marks the 175th anniversary of the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence by the Convention of 1836 in Washington-on-the-Brazos, Texas. Mayor Daniel Guerrero commemorates the event with a proclamation presented to the Moon-McGehee Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
