Sheriff’s office plans flag disposal ceremony

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office will hold a flag disposal ceremony at noon March 18 at the Training Academy, 1307 Uhland Road in San Marcos. Residents who want to dispose of old flags properly can drop them off at the sheriff’s office or any of the county’s justices of the peace. The ceremony is open to the public.
