Orchesis Dance Company to present 'Dancers In Flight'

Texas State’s student-led Orchesis Dance Company will present “Dancers in Flight” on Feb. 10-11.

Texas State’s Orchesis Dance Company will stage two performances  at Evans Auditorium on the campus of the university. Both events will be at 7:30 p.m., with one taking place on Feb. 10 and another on Feb. 11.

Each year, “Dancers in Flight,” sponsored by Texas State’s Department of Theatre and Dance, features Orchesis in an eclectic mix of choreography and performances. Special guest artist choreography will also be showcased.

Admission for the event is $10 for the general public and $5 for Texas State students. Tickets will be available at the door for cash only.

Orchesis is a student-led modern dance company established in 1981. The company is noted for its creative choreography, talented dancers and wide range of skill in many dance and music genres.
