Miller Middle School sends 11 to regional

Miller Middle School sent 23 students to compete in Pflugerville for a chance to sing in the Region 18 Honors Choirs. After competing with more than 600 area singers, 11 of the Miller students either placed or received an honorable mention.

The Miller students Region Choir members are Madeleine Lyon at 1st chair- Soprano 1, Lena Sauer at 7th chair Alto 1, Valerie Saucedo at 3rd chair Soprano 1, Tyler Moon at 6th chair Alto 1 and Michael McLerran at 9th chair Tenor 1.

Miller Students who made District Choir, and are therefore alternates to the Region Choir, include Caroline Soechting- Soprano 1, Ariel Koska- Alto1, Rebecca Vaughn- Alto 1, Vicky Gamez- Alto 1, Kylie Contreras- Alto 1 and Kundai Madhlangobe-Alto 1.

The students will join with other area students in the  Texas Music Educators Association Region 18 Middle School Concert taking place at the San Marcos High School Performing Arts Center Saturday at 4 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
