Classes to start late again at Texas State

Texas State University will delay the start of classes until 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. All 8 a.m. classes are cancelled, and a regular class schedule will be observed beginning at 9 a.m. This applies to both the main San Marcos campus and the Round Rock campus.

Although classes will be delayed one hour, university offices will open as regularly scheduled. Employees are asked to report to work for normal business hours.

If it becomes necessary to further delay or cancel classes on Friday, Feb. 4, that information will be made available on the university home page, via e-mail, through text messages to RAVE subscribers, on the university recorded news bulletin at (512) 245-2424 and will be communicated to media across the region.
