SMHS offers strawberries or caberet for Valentine's Day

The San Marcos High School (SMHS) Valentine Cabaret will be held on Feb. 8 starting at 6 p.m. and those wishing to attend should get their tickets as soon as possible.

The event is hosted by the San Marcos High School Choir Boosters. Tickets are $10 per person for dinner and the show.

The evening will start out with a dinner and serenade at 6 p.m. This will be followed at 7:15 p.m. with a choral concert in the SMHS Performing Arts Center.

The talent will be supplied by the SMHS choirs, as well as  the Miller Middle School Choir and the Goodnight Middle School Choir.

Tickets may be purchased at any San Marcos CISD choir room or from any choir students. For more information on the event, call (512) 393-6626.

If you can’t make it to the Valentine Cabaret there is still something you can do to benefit SMHS and give a sweet valentine, too. You may purchase chocolate covered strawberries to benefit the SMHS class of 2011.

The chocolate covered strawberries are $12 for a dozen with pick-up time at SMHS on Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
