Sales garner funds for San Marcos CISD schools

The San Marcos Education Foundation (SMEF) partnered with Major Saver, Inc., again this year and raised about $5,000 to support San Marcos CISD elementary campuses  and the SMEF. Major Saver produced discount cards that may be used at participating restaurants in San Marcos.

The Major Saver cards are sold by elementary school students. Elementary schools then received checks from the SMEF recognizing their participation in this year’s fundraiser.

Hernandez Elementary received $962.50, Travis Elementary garnered $665.00 and Crockett Elementary got $1, 327.50. Dezavala Elementary received $1,142.50, Mendez Elementary got $462.50 and Bowie Elementary was the recipient of $552.50.
