Goodnight Middle School Choir sends members to All-Region Choir

Sixteen Goodnight students competed at the Middle School Region Choir auditions in Pflugerville last week. Nine of the auditioning students were selected for the All-Region Choir and four were selected as alternates.

The eighth grade students selected include Chelsea Davis, Victoria Rinear, Cassidy Wallace, Joshua Heiser, Jake McGee, and Ismael Sosa. The seventh graders selected were Rebecca Rice, Alexis Tapp and Angel Sandate.

Alternates include eighth graders Rainy Weems, Christian Vera and Kate Ousey, and seventh grader, Jonathan Williams.

The region events continue with a day-long clinic at San Marcos High School on Feb. 5. The day will end with a Middle School Region Choir Concert at San Marcos High School’s Performing Arts Center.

The concert, sponsored by the San Marcos choir programs, will be free and open to the public.
