Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) will hold its 25th annual HealthCheck Community Health Screening and Fair on April 28 with a larger event and a special reduced rate.
The event will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 28 at the Embassy Suites and City of San Marcos Conference Center.
The largest health screening event in Hays County, HealthCheck is partnering this year with Texas State’s CAMCO. As a result, the event will feature an expanded number of screenings and exhibitors, with health talks presented by more than 15 physicians from CTMC’s medical staff. Also, in honor of the anniversary, the usual $35 fee for nearly $500 worth of tests is being rolled back to $25.
Pre-registration is underway. For added convenience, several pre-event blood draws will take place at CTMC and other locations. All the blood draws will take place from 7-10 a.m. on the day and location indicated.
Draws will take place at the CTMC Community Classroom on Feb. 11, Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1 and April 8.
Draws will be take place at CTMC’s Kyle clinic (151 A Kirkham Circle) on April 4 and April 5. Draws at the Wimberley Community Center (14068 RR 12) on March 30.
Draws in Lockhart, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church (188 North Church Street) will take place on March 31. In Luling, at Central Baptist Church (515 South Magnolia Street), draws will be done on April 7.
