Porter House to host poet, artist Rachel Eliza Griffith

Rachel Eliza Griffiths, author of Miracle Arrhythmia, will give a reading and book signing at 7:30 p.m on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Center in Kyle.

The event is co-sponsored by the Therese Kayser Lindsey Reading Series and the Texas State Department of English. The reading is free and open to the public. Griffiths, a poet, painter, and photographer, received her MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Her visual and literary work has been widely published both nationally and internationally.

A recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, she is the author of Miracle Arrhythmia (Willow Books 2010), Turn of Heaven (chapbook; Paris Boulevard Press), and Mule & Pear (New Issues Poetry & Prose. 2011).
