Chamber names Bondy as new president

The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce announced last week that Brian J. Bondy has accepted the offer to become the chamber’s new president.

Bondy will begin work in San Marcos on Feb. 1.

Bondy has been president of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce for the past seven years.

“I am really excited to become a part of the San Marcos community, and am looking forward to helping our business community grow and prosper by working with all of our partners.” Bondy said.

Said Earl Studdard, chairman of the San Marcos chamber board and owner of North Carolina Furniture Direct, “We are pleased to be able to bring someone with the enthusiasm, creativity and experience that Brian has to the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce.”
