School district offers free SAT, ACT prep courses

San Marcos CISD is offering free SAT and ACT prep on Saturdays beginning in January through June 2011. Classes are held from 1:30-3:30 pm in Room 8 of the Lamar Annex, 500 W. Hutchison Street. The program is open to all secondary students and is made possible by a San Marcos Education Foundation grant to the Phoenix Academy. A+ Federal Credit Union sponsors the grant. The prep dates and test dates are available on the school district’s website.
