Texas State’s agriculture department hosts bio-security training course

The Department of Agriculture at Texas State University will host an agriculture bio-security training course Jan. 11-12 on campus.

The training will be held in the Agriculture Building, room 204. The title of the course is “Preparedness and Response to Food and Agriculture Incidents.” The course is for faculty, students and personnel from state and federal agencies, including law enforcement.

The two-day course will be divided into 10 modules that will be taught by instructors from New Mexico State University, Ohio State University and Clemson University. Enrollment is limited to 45 people. There is no course registration fee.
