The Department of Agriculture at Texas State will hold an agriculture bio-security training course next week on campus.
The training will take place Jan. 11-12 in the Agriculture Building, room 204. The title of the course is “Preparedness and Response to Food and Agriculture Incidents.”
The course is for faculty, students and personnel from state and federal agencies, including law enforcement.
The two-day course will be divided into 10 modules that will be taught by instructors from New Mexico State, Ohio State and Clemson. Enrollment is limited to 45 people. There is no course registration fee.
