Travis Elementary School recently held its science fair before the Christmas break. The fair projects are judged and the winners are then sent on to regional competition.
An example of a winning project would be that of second graders Trystan Lynch, Heaven Hale and Chris Villalobos on the proper diet for hamsters. Their hamster research project now goes on to regional competition.
Other student’s whose projects will advance include Javier Flores, Jaren Rettele, Ashley Rodriguez, Jessica Amaya, Mazzy Reyes, Ellie Coleman, Alexis Taylor, Jessica Amaya, Mazzy Reyes, Ellie Coleman, and Alexis Taylor. More winners include Keelin Talton, Emma Patton, Desiree Jackson and Will Hutchison.
