The Triple Crown, 206 North Edward Gary, will once again host “Christmas with The Beaumonts,” a combination Christmas gig and food drive on Saturday. Last year, the Beaumonts event raised an impressive 4,500 pounds of food for the Hays County Food Bank.
The event features, in addition to the music of Lubbock’s southern rockers, a raffle with a generous amount of prizes. Mike and the Moonpies also will play at the event.
Raffle tickets are obtained by donating non-perishable food items. One ticket will be exchanged for one food item with no limit. Raffle tickets can also be purchased for $1 per ticket.
Raffle items include a Fender Telecaster guitars, a tandem skydive from Skydive San Marcos, 24 custom printed shirts from Dizzy Tee Designs and a $100 gift certificate for a tattoo from Mark Von Diehl. Additional prizes are posters from Billy Perkins and Greg Anderson, and meals from Chuy’s, Bikini’s, and Zen’s Pizza.
More raffle prizes include a signed copy of “Fire in the Water, Earth in the Air” by CJ Oglesby, Meteor City box sets from Meteor City Records, a Furly Art skateboard deck, Beaumonts t-shirts and CDs and a custom portrait from Furly Art. Raffle winners may also receive the entire Arclights Records Catalog. Arclights recently released the Beaumonts’ new CD “Get Ready for the Beaumonts.”
Early arriving attendees will be given a free t-shirt at the gig, however, supplies are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mike and the Moonpies will start the show at 10 p.m. The raffle drawing will begin shortly after the show starts.
