Informational Bobcat Day to be held on Nov. 13

It’s time for potential incoming freshman and transfer students to register for Texas State’s annual Bobcat Day, which will take place on the university’s campus on Nov. 13. The day is free, but registration is required.

Bobcat Day is an opportunity for new students to get a glimpse of life as a Texas State Bobcat with tours of the campus and visits with faculty and students.  The day is designed to familiarized students who have already been accepted at Texas State, as well as those who are still shopping for a college home.

All Bobcat Day activities, including parking, are free. Meals may be purchased at the on-campus dining areas.

The day also features sessions on admissions, financial aid, transfer admissions and information on the various departments at Texas State.

For more information or to register for Bobcat Day, visit For additional information, call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (512) 245-2364 or the Texas State Visitors Center at (512) 245-8871.
