The campuses of San Marcos CISD celebrated Red Ribbon Week last week with special themes for each day of the week.

Monday, Oct. 17, was “Take a Stand for a Drug Free Land” with students wearing red, white and blue. Red ribbons and signs of support decorated all the campuses in the district.

Tuesday, Oct. 18, was “Say Peace Out to Drugs” with participants clad in tie-dyed or 1960s clothing.

The theme for Wednesday, Oct. 19 was “Be a Hero! Stay Drug Free.” Students and faculty were invited to wear their favorite super hero shirts for the day.

Thursday, Oct. 20, was “Join the Drug Free Team” Day with participants encouraged to wear an official team or campus t-shirt.

The week ended on Oct. 21 with the theme “I’m a Jean-ius, I’m Drug Free” with participants wearing their favorite pair of jeans to show support for the unified efforts in the community to reduce substance abuse.
