Monster Mash Night on Oct. 15 at Mendez Elementary School proved to be great fun for students, parents and staff.
The evening featured interactions with math and science as students and parents participated in hands-on math and science applications and exercises. Information sessions on Internet safety also were included in the night’s educational activities.
Staff at Mendez dressed in costume for the event and encouraged students and parents to do likewise. The evening was filled with colorful costumes. The teachers seemed to enjoy dressing up as much as the students.
