TxDOT work snarls Hopkins Street

San Marcos drivers are finding traffic on East Hopkins Street slow and go on Monday and Tuesday as the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) mills and resurfaces a section of one of the city’s major streets.

The resurfacing is expected to be completed on Tuesday. TxDOT also will work on portions of the east Interstate-35 frontage road this week.
