Election ’10 Video: State Board of Education District 5 debate (Rebecca Bell Metereau vs. Mark Loewe)

Texas State University professor Rebecca Bell-Metereau of San Marcos is challenging incumbent Ken Mercer for the State Board of Education District 5 seat. Mercer did not show for the San Marcos Area League of Women Voters debate on Oct. 4. Libertarian Mark Loewe, a physicist, and Bell-Metereau discussed school vouchers, curriculum development and standardized testing.
