San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz will speak to the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce Eggs and Issues Breakfast on Sept. 16.
In a letter to “business and community leaders,” Narvaiz said she will report on “recent accomplishments and challenges for the City of San Marcos and our community.” In her letter, Narvaiz added that the city has weathered a tough economy due to “the dedication of citizens, businesses and institutions that are devoted to the future of San Marcos.”
The breakfast will take place on Sept. 16 at 7 a.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center. Tickets cost $15 at the door, but they may be purchased at the early bird rate of $10 for chamber members who RSVP and make payment by 5 p.m. on Sept. 13.
The breakfast is sponsored by the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority.
