  1. Best wishes to Mr. Ponce and I hope he has a speedy recovery. From the article, it seems that the driver intentionally hit his back wheel before he could make the turn. It would be great if the person responsible for hitting him did the right thing and came forward, but as another victim of a car hit-and-run while on my bike, it seems unlikely that they will do so.

  2. Jesse Ponce is a good man in tough enough roles without the inconvenience and pain he’s no doubt suffering. A man of strong faith, I’m sure he’s forgiven the driver and is prayerfully enduring this event and the setbacks it represents.
To his wife Elizabeth, his family, his co-workers and his many admirers, here’s to Jesse’s complete and speedy recovery!

  3. I am so thankful to see people commenting on this. My uncle is an amazing man, who works hard and anything and everything he does, and his recovery will be no different. I am struggling with forgiving whoever did this to him, but I know that someday they will get what is coming to them. I am just so thankful that my uncle survived this ordeal and I know he will come out of it stronger than ever. To Liz and my cousins David, Jesse III and especially Vincent I love you all and I wish I could be there with you guys right now. I am praying and thinking of all of my family.
